Kinath is a duo formed by Solange Kei and Mauricio Pierro.
They studied together in the same university of Arts in Marketing and Advertising (Social Communications) in their home town São Paulo, Brazil.
Some years later they met accidentally at Orkut community and realized they could do good music together.
Mauricio took part in several bands in Brasil, including Ambervision, the successful best 70´s cover band in São Paulo where he was also the musical producer.
Besides music, he´s a professional drawer that works with publicity and advertising.
Solange was one of the first women to accomplish the first professional studio recording, edition and mixing course in São Paulo and also the chosen girl to get an international carreer in Japan singing modern Bossa Nova in Portuguese, in 1998.
By 18 she produced her first CD with 4 independent songs on her own.
By 19 she was playing her Fender bass in a jazz band.
By 22 she took part in a kind of brazilian version of Spice Girls band.
2 years ago she won the first prize in an internet beauty contest,
Also produced Kinath´s first EP where she sang, wrote, composed, arranged.
Produced a jingle for a brazilian company.
Besides music, she works with publicity, marketing and web.
He lives in São Paulo and she lives in Stockholm.
They both are cancer sun sign and enjoy spirituality.
